Xysticus ulmi (Hahn, 1831)
This is an uncommon spider in Nottinghamshire, usually favouring damp, well vegetated habitats. It has been well recorded from the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust's reserve at Misson Carr in the very north of the county over recent years (Merritt, R. and Williams, H.) and there are records from Netherfield Lagoons and most recently from Wellow Park. Xysticus species are difficult to identify from photographs.
