Theridion melanurum (Hahn, 1831)
This is a very small spider and one of difficult group to identify on external characteristics alone. Theridion melanurum is more usually associated with buildings and these examples were found in a window at Nettleworth Manor near Mansfield Woodhouse in September 2009 and in a coal bunker at Market Warsop (lower two photographs). The abdomen colouration is variable, as these photographs show.
