Stemonyphantes lineatus (Linnaeus, 1758)
A widespread spider across the UK, which lives in a variety of habitats. We disturbed this female, whilst carrying out some gardening work at home in Market Warsop in early March 2010. Relatively easy to identify, this is a stunningly marked and colourful spider.
