Scotina celans (Blackwall, 1841) | ||
This is an uncommon spider in Nottinghamshire, with all recent records coming from the Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park areas. Scotina celans is spider very much of the ground layer and the county's most recent records came when three individuals turned up in leaf litter samples taken from the base of both Beech and Oaks from the Cockglode Wood and Sherwood Heath areas in early April 2023. | ||
