Philodromus aureolus (Clerck, 1757)
A common and wide-ranging spider in Nottinghamshire. The markings are variable on Philodromus aureolus and several similar species and their correct identification is totally impossible from photographs. It frequents vegetation, fence posts and tree trunks.
