Ozyptila atomaria (Panzer, 1801)
A fairly common crab spider of low vegetation, yet there are very few records of Ozyptilia atomaria for the Sherwood Forest NNR. The females we recorded, were found amongst leaf litter and photographed at Sherwood Forest CP in February 2011 and March 2020. The male is shown in the lower photographs, recorded again from Sherwood Forest CP in April 2011.
