Neottiura bimaculata (Linnaeus, 1767)
A common spider, which is widespread across most of Nottinghamshire. Perhaps one of the easiest spiders to identify in the field, despite its small size. Neottiura bimaculata is found amongst low vegetation and can be shaken from over-hanging Heather, such as this one was, at Rainworth Heath in June 2014.
