Larinoides cornutus
A small orb weaving species, which seems common at Sherwood and around Eakring Flash. The web is often found on low vegetation and grasses. There is some variation in abdominal markings, especially the ground colour. Photographed at Eakring Flash in early September 2009. The male is shown in the lower two photographs.
