Crustulina guttata (Wider, 1834)
Crustulina guttata is a very small and distinctively marked spider. It is widespread, but with a rather patchy UK distribution. In Nottinghamshire it is confined to heathland sites within the Sherwood Forest NNR, from Clumber Park and also the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust's Rainworth Heath NR, where several immature specimens (lower photographs) were found by searching underneath Heather in June 2014. The adult was also recorded at Rainworth Heath NR, in June 2021.
