Centromerus sylvaticus (Blackwall, 1841)
Possibly more common than the distribution map would suggest, with most records coming from sites on sandy soils. Consequently, the majority of records we have, are from the Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park areas, but it has been recorded on a number of occasions from a wetland sites in the east of the county, running down to Bunny Old Wood in the south.
