Anelosimus vittatus (C.L. Koch, 1836)
This is a very small spider, but which has been well recorded (by Sherwood standards) over recent years. The top two photos show an adult found on Budby South Forest and the lower photos show a sub-adult, found in a small tangle web at the end of a low growing Oak branch at Sherwood Forest CP. Both photographed in September 2009.
