Agroeca brunnea (Blackwall, 1833)
This is another spider which has a restricted distribution across Nottinghamshire, being known from just Clumber Park, the Sherwood Forest CP and Budby South Forest areas, and from Spalford Warren. All three sites consist of areas of woodland and heathland. Actual records of Agroeca brunnea are relatively few, so the one showed below, represented quite a find when found amongst low vegetation and leaf litter on Budby SF in December 2025.
