Trigonotylus ruficornis (Geoffroy, 1785)
This should be a common plant bug of dry grassy areas around Nottinghamshire. Trigonotylus ruficornis has similar species to make identification less easy, so care has to be taken. These adults were swept from a mix of young Heather and short grass from recently disturbed areas on Budby South Forest and Sherwood Heath SSSI in August 2012.
