Tachyporus pusillus (Gravenhorst, 1806)
Even allowing for there being few active coleopterists in the county and the small size of this Staphylinid, Tachyporus pusillus still seems to be something of an uncommon find in Nottinghamshire. Recorded quite regularly in the late 1800's and early 1900's, there appear to be few modern records, but it has turned up at the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust's Willwell Farm Cutting reserve (Terrell-Nield, C.) and from Hoveringham in March 2021 (Pendleton, T.A.).
