Sthenarus rotermundi (Scholtz, 1847)
This small, often white coloured Mirid is another species with a restricted county distribution, but it likely to occur wherever White Poplar grows. We went in search of this species in early July 2018 and found it within minutes of searching. The ones photographed were all found near the growing tip of the host plant, growing at the roadside at the entrance to Thoresby Colliery at Edwinstowe. The county's only other record we know of, is from the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust's Bentinck Banks NR in 2007 (Kirby, P.).
