Sphaerophoria interrupta (Fabricius, 1805)
Found to be a common species at many sites, Sphaerophoria interrupta can be found on the wing during the Summer months. Species determination is extremely difficult without examination of the genitalia, although Sphaerophoria hoverflies are distinctive in the field.
