Sitona ononidis (Sharp, 1866)
Having a largely coastal distribution makes Sitona ononidis (Nb) a really good find in Nottinghamshire, although there is at least one other record (Kirby, P. 2003) from the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust's Clarborough reserve in the north of the county. The one photographed was beaten from low foliage growing at Warsop Main Pit Top, near Warsop Vale in September 2015.
