Sitona hispidulus (Fabricius, 1777)
An uncommon Sitona in Nottinghamshire with few modern records we are aware of. The accompanying photographs were kindly sent to us for inclusion by Tim Sexton, who recently turned up S. hispidulus at Attenborough NR in 2016. Other recent records have come from Bentinck Banks in 2007 (Kirby, P.), Nottingham Trent University's Brackenhurst Campus in 2015 (Heeney, W.), the former Bilsthorpe Colliery and Walter's Lane, Lound GP in 2017.
