Sericoderus lateralis (Gyllenhal, 1827)
This is another tiny beetle, but one which turned up in two leaf litter samples I took in late 2021, when it was found in samples from woodland running alongside the A614 at Clumber Park and at Meden Vale. All Nottinghamshire's other records have come from within the Clumber area, but this beetle is presumably another much under-recorded species, probably in view of it's minute (1.5mm) size.
