Seioptera vibrans (Linnaeus, 1758) 
An uncommon 'Picture-winged Fly' in Nottinghamshire and with a patchy UK distribution. Most records come from western parts of Wales and the West Midlands, with other scattered clusters of records coming from East Anglia and South Yorkshire. In Nottinghamshire, Seioptera vibrans has been recorded from Netherfield Lagoons and Clumber Park, in the past few years and most recently from Market Warsop Cemetery in June 2020.
