Ramphus oxyacanthae (Marsham, 1802)
This is another very small Weevil, found most easily whilst in the larval stage. The larvae mine the leaves of Hawthorn, usually with numerous mines per leaf. The leafmines photographed were found on an small, isolated Hawthorn growing along a woodland ride near Market Warsop in October 2013.
