Psylliodes chrysocephala (Linnaeus, 1758)
Psylliodes Leaf Beetles have an ability to jump exceptionally well and are not possible to identify correctly from photographs. Commonly known as the Cabbage-stem Flea Beetle, Psylliodes chrysocephala is found on various Brassicas. Probably widespread in Nottinghamshire, no doubt being under-recorded due to identification difficulties. The colour form shown below right, is uncommon in our experience.
