Psylliodes affinis (Paykull, 1799)
One of many very small and similarly coloured leaf beetles, Psylliodes affinis has a wide range over most of Nottinghamshire. These ones illustrated were found on Deadly Nightshade rowing at the side of the River Trent at Stoke Bardolph in June 2018. All Psylliodes and some other leaf beetles, have the ability to jump exceptionally well and are often difficult photographic subjects.
