Most Nottinghamshire records of Prasocuris junci are the result of the extensive recording work of Bob Merritt and all records come from sites within colse proximity to water. The preferred foodplant is Brooklime Veronica beccabunga, from where the beetle derives it's common name of Brooklime Leaf Beetle.
