Oxystoma cerdo (Gerstaecker, 1854)
A small dark Weevil, found on Tufted Vetch (Vicia cracca), a record from Attenborough NR (Sexton, T.) in July 2016, followed a 2015 record from Misson Carr (Flanagan, J.) at the very opposite end of Nottinghamshire. These appear to be the only county records, as there are none listed by J.W. Carr's book of a century ago. Our thanks go to Tim for kindly allowing us to use his photographs below.
