This is
another new species to Nottinghamshire and the UK, when it was first
recorded as recently as 2017. It took just three years before the first
Nottinghamshire record at Edwalton in 2020 and there have been follow-up
records since, including a number of records from a Bestwood garden in
2022 and again with greater frequency in 2023
(Parkin, S.), as well as two records from an Aspley garden in
2023 and an earlier (unconfirmed) record from 2020
(McKeag, H.). There were also records from a Wollaton garden in
2022. Grateful thanks go to Sandra Parkin, who very kindly supplied her
photographs for use here. |
