Opsius stactogalus (Fieber, 1866)
A bright green Leafhopper found on the foliage of Tamarisk (Tamarix), which is a regularly grown garden shrub. There are no records of Opsius stactogalus listed anywhere near Nottinghamshire on the NBN Atlas, but this has to be a widespread species, as the three local gardens we checked which had Tamarisk growing in them, all produced numbers of Opsius stactogalus.
