Ophonus rufibarbis (Fabricius, 1792) 
An uncommon beetle in Nottinghamshire with few recent records, but generally widespread over most of southern UK counties, becoming rarer in the west. Two of the records on the distribution map are from Trent Valley sites, but the one below was found at Gedling CP in August 2020. May be more common on other former Colliery sites in the county.
