Nysius
thymi (Wolff,
1804) |
||
A common and widespread species, usually found on sites with much bare ground. Often frequent at coastal sites, but we found two adults at a brownfield site at Forest Town Mansfield in late August 2013 and on Thoresby Pit Top in August 2020. The Forest Town site was in the process of being built on and this seems to be the first record of Nysius thymi in Nottinghamshire. There are seven UK species of Nysius, which are notoriously difficult to identify. | ||
