Nycteus meridionalis
(Laporte, 1836) |
||
| This rare and pretty unremarkable beetle was only recorded new to Nottinghamshire in November 2023, when a number of specimens were found under fungi-infected sections of Pine on Budby South Forest (Pendleton, T.A.). There are only a few records of Nycteus meridionalis, even though it has been known in the UK since 1968, with records from Lincolnshire, Hampshire, Dorset and East Anglia. | ||
