Nineta flava (Scopoli, 1763)
Nineta flava is one of two large Green Lacewings found in Nottinghamshire. Generally found in woodland, it is easily attracted to light and probably familiar to those trapping moths during the Summer months. There are a number of widely scattered records from across the county in recent years, but care does have to be taken when separating this species from the similar Nineta vittata.
