Neuraphes elongatulus (Müller, P.W.J. & Kunze, 1822
This tiny beetle is rarely recorded in Nottinghamshire, possibly due to it small size (barely 1.8mm). There are post-2000 records from both Sherwood Heath and Sherwood Forest Country Park within the Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve and also from the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust's reserve at Treswell Wood. The one illustrated, turned up in a leaf litter sample taken in early March 2023.
