Necrobia rufipes (De Geer, 1775)
This colourful Necrobia seems to be a recent addition to the county's fauna, with a number of these being recorded from Stoke Bardolph in 2023 (Brownley, N. and Brownley, S.). There are few records of Necrobia rufipes listed on the NBN Atlas, due to the more stringent hygiene measures and procedures in place within today's food processing factories.
