Minettia longipennis (Fabricius, 1794)
A relatively common and presumed much under-recorded species of woodland and along hedgerows. We know of very few documented Nottinghamshire records, but there are records from Attenborough NR, Netherfield Ash Lagoons, Clumber Park and Dyscarr Wood, where the one below was photographed by Pauline Bradford in June 2019.
