Malacocoris chlorizans (Panzer, 1794)
This pale green Mirid Bug, is probably very common in wooded areas and along hedgerows across much of Nottinghamshire. A much closer inspection will reveal that Malacocoris chlorizans is dotted with darker green markings, but these are difficult to discern without some form of magnification. We beat several specimens from Hazel (Corylus avellana) from Cockglode Wood in early August 2016.
