Macrotylus paykulli (Fallén, 1807)
A very small Mirid bug, Macrotylus paykulli has a largely coastal distribution, although there is a string of records occurring down the middle of the UK. It is certainly known historically from Nottinghamshire, but we can currently trace no recent records. The ones photographed were found on Rest Harrow (Ononis repens) growing on Hills and Holes SSSI at Market Warsop in June 2017 and were very nearly over-looked as they were often flighty, but extremely small.
