Macropsis scotti (Edwards, 1920)
One of several very similar Macropsis species, which are extremely difficult to distinguish on external characteristics alone. This Macropsis scotti, was beaten from the leaves of Bramble, along a track running between Cockglode Wood and Sherwood Heath SSSI near New Ollerton in late July 2017. It is believed that this is the first record for the Sherwood Forest NNR since the early 1900's.
