Lydella grisescens (Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830)
A Tachinid Fly which is extremely similar to Lydella stabulans (historically recorded from Nottinghamshire) but there are currently no county records of Lydella grisescens, although it has been recorded just over the Derbyshire border and so is likely to be present here and should be searched for. This Lydella grisescens was found and photographed during an invertebrate survey at Dartford, Kent in late September 2012.
