Longitarsus rubiginosus (Foudras, 1860)
Most Longitarsus Leaf Beetles are impossible to identify from photographs and the only certain method of identification is by dissection. This unidentified Longitarsus sp turned out to be Longitarsus rubiginosus after later examination. It was originally found in an overgrown area of a Mapperley garden containing Bindweed (Convolvulus sp) and another also recorded on Bindweed at Woodthorpe Park in Nottingham.
