Green Furrow Bee Lasioglossum morio (Fabricius, 1793)
This is another tiny bee, recorded from the site of the former Rufford Colliery at Rainworth in October 2020, during survey work on site carried out by Tim Sexton. It seems likely that Lasioglossum morio is poorly recorded in VC56, but there are records from nearby Oak Tree Heath at Mansfield and it should be expected at most of Sherwood Forest's heathland sites. Thanks again to Tim, for kindly providing his photograph for use here.
