Kybos smaragdulus (Fallén, 1806)
One of a number of very difficult to identify leafhoppers, Kybos smaragdulus is subsequently quite rarely recorded. Such is their difficulty, that most recorders rarely bother with them and the only previous Nottinghamshire records we know of, are from Daneshill Lakes in 1986 (Ely, B.) and Langold Lake in 1987 (Foster, S.). The one illustrated, turned up at MV light in our Market Warsop garden in early October 2018.
