Kissophagus hederae (Schmitt, 1843)
This small bark beetle was only recently found new to Nottinghamshire. It hostplant is Ivy (Hedera helix) but it was still a surprising find when beating Ivy growing on trees opposite the old entrance to the Sherwood Forest CP in May 2020. Kissophagus hederae has a very patchy UK distribution, with most records coming from south-east counties, parts of south Wales and West Norfolk and Suffolk. Possibly increasing its UK range.
