Kateretes pusillus (Thunberg, 1794)
Kateretes pusillus is one of the Soft-winged Flower Beetles (Kateretidae) These are small beetles with K. pusillus measuring around 2.5mm. The one photographed was one of two that were swept from Eakring Meadows NR in early July 2010. A local species in the UK, which prefers damp or wet sites.
