Ischnopterapion modestum (, 1808)
Ischnopterapion modestum is one of many small, dark Weevils who's identification is not easy, or often possible from photographs alone. The one in the photographs below, was swept from Bird's-foot Trefoil (Lotus corniculatus) at Attenborough NR by reserve manager Tim Sexton, who very kindly provided us with the accompanying photographs.
