Ischnopterapion loti (Kirby, 1808)
This is probably quite a widespread beetle over much of Nottinghamshire. Most of the records we have had sent in to us, to help plot the distribution of Ischnopterapion loti, have come from site surveys by Peter Kirby, conducted on behalf of the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. Most are Trent Valley sites, including Attenborough NR in July 2016, where Tim Sexton recorded and photographed Ischnopterapion loti and who kindly provided us with the accompanying photograph.
