Hydrotaea dentipes (Fabricius, 1805)
A grossly under-recorded species in Nottinghamshire, which seems frequent enough in well planted gardens. There are over 150 historical records for Hydrotaea dentipes listed on the NBN Atlas, which is something of a testament to the Victorian naturalists, who recorded considerably more of our invertebrate fauna than we do today.
