Nettle Ground Bug Heterogaster urticae (Fabricius, 1775)
According to the NBN Gateway, this Ground Bug has a patchy distribution across the UK. In theory, and with Nettle as it's host plant, Heterogaster urticae should be at many more Nottinghamshire sites than it actually appears to be. It is known from Netherfield Ash Lagoons, but our only record came from an industrial estate in Mansfield, where both adults and nymphs (lower two photographs) were quite common in late August 2014.
