Gymnetron vollosulum (Gyllenhal, 1838)
An uncommon Weevil of wetland sites, with Nationally notable B status. The individual in the accompanying photographs, probably represents the first Nottinghamshire record, being recorded at Attenborough NR by reserve manager Tim Sexton, who kindly allowed us to use his photographs here. The larva of Gymnetron villosulum form a gall on the flowers of Veronica catenata.
