Gymnetron veronicae (Germar, 1821)
Gymnetron veronicae is an uncommon Weevil with Nationally notable B status. The individual found and photographed in June 2016 by reserve manager Tim Sexton at Attenborough NR, is one of few Nottinghamshire records. The only other Nottinghamshire record we know of is from the site of the former Annesley/Bentinck Colliery in 2007 (Kirby, P.). Our thanks go to Tim, who once again kindly provided his photograph for inclusion.
