Gronops lunatus (Fabricius, 1775)
A scarce weevil in Nottinghamshire with a generally south-easterly UK range, although it does occur elsewhere at some other coastal sites. Here, it is known from just two sites on sandy soils with a record from Spalford Warren in 2002 and the site of the former Rufford Colliery at Rainworth, where the one below was found and photographed by Tim Sexton in 2020.
